Serving a year in Temasek Polytechnic Students' Union may be tough. I can still totally remember when I wanted to go for election and my sis was like, "WHY ON EARTH DID YOU RUN FOR SU? HATE THOSE PEOPLE STEP ENTHU." word for word, this is what my sis told me. nevertheless, I ran for it. and of course, I've proved her wrong. SU isn't all about stepping enthu. To me, not to self praise but I think that the 13 of us, or rather even those who ran for various clubs during election and being elected as Student Leaders, are really selfless. I mean, we are ready to sacrifice our time just for the sake of the students in our school. People may not see it, but doesn't mean that we have to stop proving to them.

Going back to when I was about to run for my election, I had the thought of bringing up the name TPSU. I want people to change their negative thoughts for TPSU. Right now, not sure whether have I fulfill what I wanted. but all that I would say is, I have no regrets. There is nothing that I could have done but yet I didn't do. Efforts may or may not be taken in by the others, but that isn't going to stop what I have in mind.

Growing up, by then, memories of Primary School will be fading, Secondary school will still be there. It's the same clique of friends that I will mention. and of course, in Polytechnic, SU will be the main highlight.

The phrase goes "meeting you guys was fate." Fate brought the 13 of us together to run and get elected into TPSU AY 11/12. I hope 10 years down the road, the 13 of us will still be proud to be in the same comm in the year of 2011/2012.
